Hello everyone,

This is my first weblog entry, so forgive me if it's not as flashy as it could be. Promise to work on it...

About my weblog, a lot of friends are always asking for my recipes and tips on entertaining so I thought, why not share it with them on a weblog. In the coming weeks I'll be adding some of my favourite recipes. Scope of the recipes will be quite broad: from aardvark to zebra (kidding! although...), links to my favourite recipe websites world wide, tips on entertaining, favourite cookery books, etc. Hopefully I will also be able to answer questions and help you find cooking related 'stuff' and have fun doing it.

Some quick info about me: I'm a 36 year young Dutch woman, I live in the South-West of the Netherlands and apart from my obvious interest in cooking and all things related I also enjoy playing squash (not the vegetable!), painting (no talent but who cares), reading (Terrry Prattchet rules!), art, interior and garden design, travelling, religion (although I have to warn you I am an extreme atheist) going out with friends and generally being an irritating busybody. Why is this starting to sound like a dating profile???

I hope to meet a lot of fellow cooking enthusiasts here, so leet me know what you think of my blog. If you have recipes you'ld like to share with me, don't hesitate!

Anyway, the site will be updated soon, I've just started a new job so time is a bit of an issue right now.
